Monti APM is application performance monitoring built specifically for Meteor. It shows you exactly what's happening inside your app: slow methods, inefficient publications, memory leaks, and errors your users are hitting.
Professional Plan Feature
Monti APM is included with your Professional Plan subscription. No additional fees, no separate account needed.
Setting Up on Galaxy
Galaxy handles the Monti APM configuration automatically. You just need to install the agent package and deploy.
Deploy on Professional Plan
Deploy your app to Galaxy. Make sure your app is on the Professional plan (Monti APM isn't available on Free or Essentials).
Access the Dashboard
Open your app in the Galaxy dashboard. You'll see a link to your Monti APM dashboard in the app overview page. Data starts appearing within a minute of deployment.
No Manual Configuration Needed
Galaxy automatically provisions your Monti APM app and handles all credentials. You don't need to add settings to your settings.json or call Monti.connect() manually.
Migrating from Meteor APM
Running the old Meteor APM agent? Remove it before using Monti APM. The two agents can't run simultaneously.
meteor remove mdg:meteor-apm-agent
meteor add montiapm:agentThen deploy to Galaxy.
Migrating from Existing Monti APM Configuration
Already using Monti APM with your own account? To use Galaxy's integrated version, remove your existing configuration:
- Remove any
montiorkadiraobjects from yoursettings.json - Remove any
Monti.connect()calls from your code - Remove
MONTI_APP_IDandMONTI_APP_SECRETenvironment variables
After removing manual configuration, Galaxy's automatic setup takes over.
Keep Your Standalone Account?
If you prefer using your own Monti APM account, keep your existing configuration. Galaxy won't override it.
